What a fabulous event! The Costalegre Rotary Club Chili Cook Off, one of the best events of the winter in the Costalegre area was celebrated yesterday in Barra de Navidad, Jalisco. 

Hundreds of expats along with Mexicans gathered at the Barra de Navidad main square to attend the annual Chili Cook-Off, where more than 31 contestants competed for the best chili and salsa. Visitors as far of Toronto, Vancouver, California, Seattle, Vancouver Island, Puerto Vallarta, Winnipeg had the opportunity to enjoy delicious food, beer, tequila and live music.

This fundraising event is organized by the Costalegre Rotary Club with helping the local community with several projects.

Costalegre Rotary Club meetings are every Wednesday 9:00 am for one hour at the Cabo Blanco Hotel and everybody is welcome to attend.
